HERBERT J. NEVYAS, M.D.: Our ambulatory surgical center, the Delaware Valley Laser Surgery Institute, is located right next to our office. This is very convenient for patients and for doctors, and we have the very finest, most modern equipment available. Our patients are very comfortable there, since we also have a very nice step-down unit where they meet with their own families and are given their post-operative instructions, together with a little snack after surgery.
At the other end of our office, we have our laser surgery installation where we perform LASIK and Epi-LASIK surgeries. Here we, again, have the most modern equipment, Flying Spot laser, which tracks the eye so the patient doesn’t have to worry about movement, and wavefront equipment to give the most advanced procedure possible.
